Custom-made Café curtains & Valances

Give your home a personal and cosy feel with a custom-made café curtain or valance from Himla Atelier. It is a flexible curtain solution if you want to frame the window while keeping space for furniture underneath – in the kitchen, bathroom, hallway or summer house. Each curtain is sewn to your measurements and tailored to fit your window perfectly.

The café curtain is placed across the lower part of the window and gives natural privacy, while daylight flows in above. The classic design creates a warm and inviting atmosphere and is especially popular in kitchens and bathrooms. When you order a custom-made café curtain, it is adapted in both width and height so it sits exactly where you want it – across the middle of the window or level with the glazing bars.

A valance gives the window a soft and timeless frame. It works especially well above deep windowsills, radiators or kitchen sinks where longer curtains are not practical, and adds character to the room without blocking any light. Feel free to order fabric samples first so you can see the colour and texture in your own light.
