Living
The living room is the heart of the home – the place where you spend time together, get cosy and unwind. Soft textiles make a big difference to how the room feels. With cushions, throws, curtains and a beautiful rug, you can create a warm and inviting living room that reflects your style.
At Himla, you will find living room textiles in natural materials such as linen and cotton. Linen cushion covers have a living texture and a relaxed look, where the soft creases of the linen bring the room to life.
An easy way to create a harmonious living room is to start from a colour palette and vary the shades, textures, materials and sizes of the cushions on your sofa. Let simplicity speak for itself, or add a cushion with fringes or another detail as a focal point. A throw draped over the arm of the sofa or an armchair makes the room more inviting in an instant.
Textiles are also the easiest way to refresh your living room with the seasons. Switch to lighter, airier shades in spring and summer, and to warmer tones and heavier materials when autumn arrives – without changing a single piece of furniture. Scented candles and reed diffusers complete the atmosphere.
