Fabric samples
Knowing which shade or texture you want is not always easy. Colours can look very different on screen and in real life, and the light in your home affects how a fabric looks. That is why you can order fabric samples from our collections, so you can take your time and see which fabric suits your home best.
With fabric samples in front of you, it is easier to make the right decision. You can feel the quality, see the texture up close and compare different shades side by side. Hold the sample up to the window to see how the light filters through the fabric, and look at it both in daylight and in evening light. Place it next to your sofa, bed linen, rug or wall colour to see how the colour works with the rest of the room.
Fabric samples are especially valuable when you are planning to order custom-made products from Himla Atelier, where every order is sewn to your measurements. That way, you know the colour and quality will be exactly as you imagined. A tip is to order a few shades from the same colour family – the difference between two light tones can be greater than you think.
Dalsland
Dalsland is a very sheer, transparent linen voile. It creates a light, elegant look, softly filtering the light. Available as a curtain and a roll-up blind.
Sunshine / Sunday
A thin, tightly woven pure linen available in a wide range of colours. Sunshine products are washed for a more relaxed look, while Sunday products are unwashed. Sunshine is available as a curtain, roll-up blind, tablecloth, table runner, napkins, kitchen towel and cushion cover. Sunday is available as a roman blind.
Sunrise
Sunrise is a beautiful pure linen, garment-washed for a soft, comfortable feel. Available as a duvet cover, pillowcase, flat sheet, tablecloth and curtain
Miramar
Miramar is a tightly woven pure linen with plenty of texture, soft treated for a modern and relaxed look. Available as a roman blind, bed skirt, headboard cover and curtain.
Skylight
Skylight is a thin, transparent linen voile. Available as a curtain.
Twilight
Twilight is an exclusive, tightly woven pure linen with a heavy drape. It is garment-washed for a relaxed look. Available as a curtain.
Soulmate
Soulmate is woven from a heavy pure linen with a dense weave and slightly coarser yarn, giving the fabric a distinct texture and character. Soft-treated for a smooth, pleasant feel – a linen that only grows more beautiful with time. Available as a curtain.
Spira
Spira is made from 100% linen and is thin and light. The fabric is woven from linen yarn with a clear texture and an open weave that lets light through beautifully. Available as a curtain and café curtain/valance.
Nightfall
Nightfall is Himla's blackout fabric, made from recycled polyester with a lovely drape and a soft, matt surface. The fabric blocks out 99% of light. Available as a curtain.
Ebba
Ebba is Himla's modern classic in a tightly woven linen-cotton blend with a fine texture and a timeless look. Available as a roman blind, tablecloth, table runner and napkin.
Weeknight
Weeknight is made from a heavier canvas-quality linen-cotton blend. Available as a bed skirt and headboard cover.
